I moved to the United States in 1975 as a Vietnamese refugee. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and received my Master's Degree in Computer Sciences at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, listening to music, watching movies and tending to all my animals, including my cat, macaw, cockatoo and tropical fish. Another hobby of mine includes helping sick children, pediatric hospitals and unfortunate families in Chicagoland.
