About Shan

Since 1990, providing a superior mortgage experience to my clients, partners and community has driven my success. From helping first-time homebuyers finance their first home to providing construction lending to those who want to build their dream property, I believe this has helped to build my life and career.

Throughout my years as a mortgage professional, I have originated almost every loan you can imagine. This experience helps me provide hands-on knowledge during every transaction. For the last 10 years, I've focused on building an amazing construction loan division that has provided financing for thousands of builders and homeowners. Through this success, we've earned our reputation as an excellent, high-quality construction lender. My son, Broch, is my business partner and together, we have built an incredible team.

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved away from my family when I was 10 years old to pursue my Olympic dream in gymnastics. I earned my degree in Exercise Physiology and am a father of 3 grown children and a stepfather to my wife's 5 grown children. I am a grandfather to 5 grandsons, who are the center of my world. My wife and I have our own charitable foundation and we have provided food, clothing, school supplies and many other necessities for those less fortunate. We enjoy spending time in the Philippines building our foundation and enjoying our home there. We love to motor home, camp, jet ski and boat as a family.
