I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from San Diego State University. I am married and have two university-age daughters (one is a recent graduate). In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, tennis, woodworking, and following Formula 1 racing.
