I moved to Minnesota in 2007 and don't regret it a single day! We have a way doing things here that is just right. I went to the U of MN, and received my degree in Actuarial Sciences. I tried engineering, I tried being an actuary, and something just felt off.
In 2011, I entered into the mortgage world and have never left. I have a background in Underwriting and Sales in both large bank environments and brokerages. What gets me out of bed in the morning, though, is closing day for my clients. Buying a home is fearful and exciting, stressful and enthusiastic, challenging and rewarding. When clients are at the closing table, being handed the keys from the sellers, hearing stories about the neighbors, discovering the local coffee shops, learning the best dining spots, this is what makes the experience memorable for everyone. This is what I live for.
When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my dogs in Orono. My two yorkies, Mogwai and Kenley, like going outside to see the deer and wild turkeys that roam our street. If we are not home, we are taking advantage of Minnesota's great state park system and hiking, or exploring. I am proud to call Minnesota, my home!
