Mary Anne’s career in real estate began in Ocean City, Maryland, where she was licensed as a real estate agent at the age of 18. As a successful mortgage advisor since 2003, she still finds that her early real estate experience comes in handy when shepherding clients’ loans to closing.
Mary Anne is also known as “Queen of The Loan” and has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle’s “Just Approved” mortgage success column. As a radio personality and broadcaster, Mary Anne has had the pleasure of interviewing local real estate mavens for two years on her Bay Area Clear Channel weekly AM radio show, “Tea Time with Queen of The Loan.”
Mary Anne is always seeking to educate the public (and other real estate professionals) about the real estate world. She regularly creates and holds classes for real estate agents as a long-time affiliate member of the local Marin Realtors Association.
She is an award-winning customer experience lender who goes beyond simply quoting a rate, instead walking each client through an interactive, multi-part Total Cost Analysis. This enables them to understand the short- and long-term costs of each mortgage option and empowers them to make the best choice for their goals and needs, whether buying a home or refinancing.
Clients appreciate this “high-touch” approach and Mary Anne’s perspective on the economic factors influencing the mortgage bond market. They know what to expect, how long it will take, and how much Mary Anne appreciates their trust in her to guide them to closing with the least amount of stress.
Mary Anne has lived in Mill Valley since 1993 with her husband George, a music industry executive who helped her create her unique “Queen of the Loan” music video that has been seen by thousands of real estate professionals. They are the proud parents of two sons.
