As I reflect on my career, I have zero regrets. I started in the mortgage business as a fluke in 1987, thinking it was “just a job” until I figured out what I wanted to do. But it quickly became my passion. The feeling I get when I help my clients, many with difficult or complex financial situations, find the home of their dreams is satisfying. From $70,000 homes to $7 million abodes, my team and I always work with a “can do, will do” attitude.
Last year, at the height of the COVID pandemic, I helped over 1,000 families achieve their dream homes, closing over $329 million in loans. My success has been recognized by Scotsman Guide year after year, most recently in these Top Originators rankings:
- #1 Woman Originator in Florida for two years in a row
- Most Loans Closed
- Top Dollar Volume
- op Purchase Volume
- Top FHA Volume
A large part of my success hinges on my desire to connect with each client. I prefer to pick up the phone and have conversations that allow me to get to know them. It’s amazing what you can learn if you make that call. If you prefer email, that works for me too! I try to return every phone call and email before the end of each day.
My success has allowed me to pay it forward. I’m blessed to be part of amazing charitable organizations, such as PACE Center for Girls, Make-A-Wish, The Immokalee Foundation, Wounded Warriors, Youth Haven, and many more. I try to never say no as this business and community have been good to me. My family, team, and I also participate in an annual backpack and school supply drive and collect and distribute Christmas gifts for the underprivileged all over Florida.
