Tania was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina while her grandfather was serving as Bolivian Ambassador but grew up in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She came to the U.S. to attend college and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. She went on to earn her Master of Arts from the University of Oklahoma. Tania is also a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving 3 years active duty with the U.S. Army Reserve from 1998-2001.
Tania took a less conventional, but more impressive, path to becoming a Mortgage Loan Officer. She actually started her mortgage banking career in 2004 as a Loan Processor and went on to earn her certification as an Underwriter. In 2013, she took the next step and became a fully licensed Mortgage Originator. Tania has the valuable experience of working in both a traditional FDIC bank and in mortgage banking. She will tell you that she prefers mortgage banking because she has the opportunity to work more closely with her clients and deliver on time closings due to the ability to interact directly with her Underwriting, Processing and Closing department associates, unlike traditional bank loan officers or mortgage brokers.
Before entering mortgage banking, Tania lived in Japan for 3 years and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, the U.S. and even the Canary Islands! When she isn't working, Tania is busy raising her teenage son and cooking new dishes for friends and family. She really is an excellent cook! We are proud Tania is part of our Maxwell Mortgage team at CrossCountry Mortgage, you will be glad she is on yours!
